Skyline Pavilion at ToonExpo by C-Squared

A Walk Into the Future of Urban Living

Article by Karlen Madoyan - Founder & CEO of C-Squared

At C-Squared (c-2.am), the work tends to be about taking abstract concepts and shaping them into spaces people can truly feel.

For the debut of Skyline’s skyscraper project in Armenia, showcased at ToonExpo in Yerevan, the assignment was pretty straightforward yet ambitious: create a pavilion that feels less like a booth and more like a glimpse into one’s future that they might call their home.

Walking Through Apartments at True Scale

The show’s centerpiece was the interactive walkable floor plan. Using advanced Exynos projectors with precision lenses, entire apartment layouts were cast directly onto the ground.
Visitors didn’t just view blueprints - they walked across them. In fact, this design choice turned what is usually a flat drawing into something people could literally step inside, helping them grasp proportions and room flow in a way that paper never could.

A Pavilion Rooted in Brand Identity

Skyline’s values - openness, community, and modern living - shaped every design decision. The structure leaned on clean architectural lines, bold brand colors, and smart circulation routes that nudged visitors to keep exploring. Zones were broken up naturally: the interactive area, a bar and lounge, model displays, and cozy seating spots. This kind of flow meant people weren’t just passing through; they were staying, talking, and connecting.

Light, Media, and Atmosphere Working Together

Strategically placed LED screens didn’t pass the info - it highlighted key features and guided attention to focal points. On massive walls, architectural plans played out like moving storyboards, blending seamlessly with the real-world model displays.
At the same time, a bar and lounge offered a more relaxed setting, where conversations about the future of Yerevan’s skyline felt natural.
More Than a Booth – A Social Hub

The Skyline Pavilion acted as a stage, a meeting place, and in many ways, a living advertisement for what the skyscraper promises.
The architectural scale model sat at the heart of the pavilion, grounding the futuristic tech with something tactile.
Around it, everything - from the projection mapping to the seating clusters - worked together to turn curiosity into engagement.
