For the two-day cultural celebration honoring the 96th birthday and legacy of philanthropist Hrayr Hovnanian, C-Squared delivered custom motion content, wall projection mapping, and real-time audio-reactive visuals. Hosted in the courtyard of Saint Anna Church in downtown Yerevan - built in 2015 by Hrayr Hovnanian - the visual installation mapped thematic Armenian cultural motifs and responsive digital art across the church architecture during live performances by the Komitas Choir, Nairyan Vocal Ensemble, and a headline piano recital by Honored Artist of Armenia Hayk Melikyan.

The H. Hovnanian Family Foundation commissioned C-Squared to design and execute a site-specific visual environment for the open-air anniversary celebration. The brief required producing custom motion graphics rooted in Armenian heritage motifs, mapping projections cleanly across the church wall surfaces, and configuring real-time audio-reactive visuals to accompany live piano and choral performances without intrusive stage lighting.
Achieving crisp projection coverage across the stone architecture of Saint Anna Church while maintaining acoustic sensitivity during classical piano and choir performances presented key technical hurdles. The outdoor setup required precise optical alignment to prevent light spill onto performers and audience members, as well as a low-latency audio processing system to analyze live acoustic piano phrasing and dynamically drive visual parameters in real time.
Custom Content Creation: Developed tailored motion graphics and visual textures inspired by Armenian cultural heritage, history, and architectural motifs.
Architectural Wall Mapping: Calibrated high-lumen projector arrays using spatial warping software to map visuals cleanly across the stone walls of Saint Anna Church, framing the performance area.
Real-Time Audio-Reactive Synchronization: Deployed real-time audio-reactive software linked directly to live stage microphones during Hayk Melikyan’s piano performance. Incoming acoustic volume and frequency dynamics directly modulated visual parameters, controlling pattern expansion, pulse speed, and color shifts in direct sync with the music.
On-Site Control & Signal Management: Managed video signal routing and live visual switching from the control desk across the two-day program.
Successfully delivered continuous architectural wall projection mapping and real-time audio-reactive visuals throughout the two-day celebration without signal latency or technical disruption.
